Dr Shapla Mahmud
Dr Shapla Mahmud completed her Bachelor of Medicine in Bangladesh. Over the past 5 years she has worked in hospitals in both Western Australia and New South Wales. After working in the hospital system, she realised that working as a General Practitioner would be the most rewarding.
Dr Shapla has a special interest in family medicine, with a particular interest in child health (completed the Diploma in Child Health), women’s health (completed Family Planning course) and dermatology.
Outside of the practice, Shapla loves spending time with her husband and two children.
Dr Shapla Mahmud is fluent in English and Bangla.
Dr Shapla Mahmud is currently undertaking the Australian General Practice Training Program in order to gain the Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
